The Kashan Rug Gallery offers professional expertise in rug selection. Owner, Pari Janati has been in business in the Rockland area for twenty years, but her experience with rugs spans her whole life. Her family has worked in the industry for two hundred years since her great-grandfather started a small store in the city of Kashan. Knowledge about the art of rug making and maintenance has been passed down over four generations to provide the foundation of expertise that goes into the selection and service at Pari’s gallery.

As one of the only women in the rug industry, Pari also brings a flare for design into the service she provides. She carefully selects each piece for the quality of its materials and craftsmanship, unique design concept and color scheme. Each rug is a treasure, delightful to behold and practical for daily use. Her family resources are plentiful, and she is dedicated to finding just what her customers are looking for. If necessary, rugs may even be hand-woven as ordered for specific needs.

Kashan Gallery carries a rare and eclectic collection of new and antique rugs including traditional styles, such as Nain, Kashan, and Tabriz as well as modern Gabbeh and unique tribal rugs. We also carry runners, round and odd-sized rugs. There is something for virtually any décor, from traditional to transitional and modern, to French country.

We also offer a new service for our customers who would appreciate the advice of an expert in interior decorating. Several of our associates, all talented designers now offer a free in-home consultation for the rug selection process.

Pari also lends her expertise in rug maintenance by providing a cleaning service by hand with all-natural products as well as all kinds of repairs for any kind of rug. On many occasions she makes house calls to accommodate customers in the care of their rug. Weaving is no simple task, and those masterpieces that were created with love and skill are worthy of respect and longevity. We offer our services for the sake of this ancient art and for the practical warmth and color it brings to every-day life.
